🎯 Current Highlights

🏓 Ping Pong Play continues development following national recognition.
Kaela’s newest play, Ping Pong Play—a time-jumping, two-hander about friendship, sport, and survival—was awarded the 2024 Leah Ryan Fund Prize, named a 2025 O’Neill National Playwrights Conference Finalist, and selected as a 2025 New Harmony Project Semifinalist.
The play was most recently developed at Powerhouse Theater at Vassar (dir. Benita deWit) and presented in Gingold Theatrical Group’s Speakers Corner series. Stay tuned for further development with Gingold in 2025–2026.

📚 Corners Grove is now published with Dramatists Play Service.
You can find the script on DPS' site here! A nod to Our Town, Corners Grove, shifts Thorton Wilder’s masterpiece into the twenty-first century, to a small town about forty miles south of San Francisco. George, Emily, and their friends are determined to live their lives on their own terms and to shed versions of themselves they’ve outgrown, whether that be their high school sweetheart or their gender identity. Life has only spun forward, and the only way for the residents of Corners Grove to keep up is to embrace the unknown and commit to their own truths.

Upcoming productions include:
  • University of Utah, Spring 2026
  • Kansas University, Spring 2026

💌✨ Pride and Prejudice heads to Illinois Wesleyan University.
This April 8–12, Kaela's  adaptation of Pride and Prejudice will be performed at Illinois Wesleyan University, bringing wit, romance, and razor-sharp social satire to a new generation of audiences.

🧙‍♀️ High School Coven heads to Allegheny College.
After a celebrated 2023 production at the Strand Theatre (named Maryland Theater Guide’s #1 show to see), High School Coven returns to the stage at Allegheny College in 2026.
